Possibilities of a projective experiment in changing the strategy of information support for the policy of the future

The challenges of the new geopolitical reality, which is intensified with the need to preserve not only economic and political, but also ideological sovereignty and the value independence of the Russian state, providing opportunities for self-realization of young people in society, actualize the stated research. External information pressure and the expansion of economic sanctions have an impact on the transformation of values among young people.
The purpose of the article is to identify the relationship between the strategy of formation of Russian student youth horizons for planning a personal future and the image of Russia of the future with components of national and state identity, value profile and specifics of information behavior of young Russians. This goal is actualized by a number of challenges of the new geopolitical reality, which is becoming increasingly necessary to preserve not only the economic, political, but also the ideological sovereignty and value independence of the Russian state in the face of external pressure on all aspects of Russian society.
The research aims to diagnose the degree of integration of Russian youth into the current ideological agenda of modern Russia, identify strategies for young Russians to build an image of their future, and identify spiritual and behavioral attitudes that are interrelated with this strategy. The method of collecting information is a mass survey of Russian university students, a sample of 397 people, represented by gender and year of study, the survey was conducted from April 01 to May 15, 2025.
The segments of youth are presented according to the type of social problems of concern and the type of social well-being. As a result, the conviction of young Russians in the influential geopolitical status and the key role of Russia in the development of world processes is verified, which is associated with their positive assessment of trends in the development of social and political systems.
The result of the study was empirical evidence of the connection between the formation of positive, optimistic and constructive planning of the horizon of their future in Russia by young Russians and the components of their national and state identity, assessment of various aspects of the social and political systems of the Russian state and society, a value portrait and a strategy for finding information of a political and civil nature. The study provides factual data on the growing relevance of the development of special technologies in educational programs of educational institutions aimed at the formation of positive historical memory, constructive national and state identity of students and critical thinking in the process of evaluating the content of external digital information sources.
