Informal youth groups in the process of political transformations of Russian society

The purpose of the article is to analyze the role of informal youth groups in the development of Russian society and the state.
The causes of the emergence of informal youth groups are identified and their distinctive features are given. The author's view of individual events in the history of our country from the point of view of the participation of youth and youth groups in them is presented.
The author focuses on the existence of examples when young people become a tool in the hands of unscrupulous politicians, sometimes acting in the interests of other states. It is also noted that there is a need to create a systematic approach when working with informal youth groups, taking into account modern geopolitical factors. As a result, the factors that create real threats to the national security of the country are identified. The need for new institutions for regulating the environment of youth groups and the scientific need for a deeper study of the problem of their informal influence on the security of the country are determined.
