The anti-racist movement "Black Lives Matter" as a factor in international political relations

The purpose of the article is to examine the influence of the «Black Lives Matter» (BLM) movement on international political relations.
The uniqueness of the Black Lives Matter movement is determined by the fact that ideologically it offers a new interpretation of racism and racial discrimination. According to the supporters of BLM, modern political relations, criminal and judicial systems, culture, sports and a number of other areas of social existence are hidden racism when the norms of the white population are presented as universal. This leads to the hidden suppression of representatives of other cultures and races, and consequently, to the permissibility of combating racial discrimination, including violent disobedience to the authorities.
As a result, the author concludes that the mass actions against racial discrimination carried out by supporters of the BLM had an ambiguous effect on various subjects of international relations. It is emphasized that states rarely considered the BLM movement as a factor of their own foreign policy orientations, while the activities of a number of international political organizations in the field of combating racial discrimination underwent a serious transformation precisely under the influence of the BLM.
