Research of the competitive environment of dairy products of functional purpose in foreign markets

. Providing the population with dairy products in the required volume is one of the strategic tasks in the field of ensuring the food security of states. The purpose of the article is to present the main results of the study of the foreign market of dairy products of functional purpose. In relation to the research topic, a set of general scientific approaches are used - integrated and systemic, methods of comparison, graphical and tabular presentation of data, economic and statistical methods. The results of the analysis of the international market for dairy milk products allow to conclude that there is high competition in this sector. The growth of income and living standards creates great potential for the market development and the creation of new segments. It is noted that the Chinese market is the most promising for the promotion of dairy products. However, despite the positive trends in the development of the world market for dairy products, in 2022, reduction in the production of the products in question is possible due to the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19), as well as the unstable geopolitical situation in the world.
