Reputation of state authority in in the information space as a condition for reducing the level of social tension

The purpose of the article is to identify the influence of the reputation of state power on the level of social tension in the modern information society.
The results of a sociological study devoted to the analysis of the formation of the reputation of state power at the federal, regional and municipal levels formed the empirical basis of the work. The sources of information about the activities of the authorities, especially the establishment of the confidence of the population in the authorities are considered. The most significant characteristics affecting the formation of the reputation of the authorities are determined.
As a result of the research, the author draws the conclusion that the formation of a positive reputation of the authorities contributes to increasing the confidence of the population in this state structure.
