Authors publishing articles in the ‘Central Russian Journal of Social Sciences’ agree with the following:
The authors retain copyright to the manuscript and grant the journal the right of first publication under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International Licence (CC BY-NC 4.0), which allows others to distribute this work with the obligatory preservation of references to the authors of the original work and the original publication in this journal.
The authors retain the right to enter into separate contractual arrangements concerning non-exclusive distribution of the version of the manuscript in published form (e.g., placing it in an institutional repository, publishing it in a book), with reference to its original publication in the “Central Russian Journal of Social Sciences”.
Authors have the right to post their work on the Internet (e.g., in an institutional repository or personal website) before and during the review process by the Journal, as this can lead to a productive discussion and more references to the work.
Authorship
In accordance with the ICMJE recommendations, the editorial board of the “Central Russian Journal of Social Sciences” recommends authorship to be based on the following criteria:
- Substantial contribution to the conception or planning of the research work, or acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of the data of the research work;
- Drafting the manuscript or revising it critically, adding valuable intellectual content;
- Final approval of the published version of the manuscript;
- Agreement to take responsibility for all aspects of the work and ensure that any questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work may be examined and resolved.
Each author of the manuscript must meet all of the above 4 criteria for authorship.
In addition to responsibility for parts of the work the author performed, the author must be aware of specific parts of the work which co-authors are responsible for.
Persons who do not meet all four criteria should be mentioned in the “Acknowledgments” section. Each author must be aware ofshown and agree to the list and order of authors in the listof presented in ing the manuscript before sending it to the editorial board.
In case the authors wish to make changes to the list of authors after the manuscript has been sent to the editor, in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE): it is necessary to provide the editor with a written justification of the reasons for making changes to the author group, with a detailed description of the contribution of added and/or removed authors to the work on the manuscript,
In case of disagreement between the authors, consideration of the article is suspended until an agreed decision is made within the author group.
In cases where a manuscript has already been published and assigned a volume and issue number, any requests to change authorship approved by the editor will result in the publication of corrections.
The editorial board of the “Central Russian Journal of Social Sciences” has the right to request additional documents confirming the legitimacy of the changes made to authorship.
The manuscript is submitted to the editorial board as a file with the extension .doc, .docx, .rtf.
